About us
The Belgian Medical Association Saint-Luke is the official association for catholic physicians, member of the European (FEAMC) and World (FIAMC) Federations of Catholic Medical Associations. The association is under the authority of the Vatican's 'Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development'.
Objectives
The Belgian association aims to support doctors and other healthcare workers in the practice of their profession, in accordance with the Christian faith:
- To establish a link between Christian belief and medical practice
- Taking a Christian-inspired approach, it aims to meet the spiritual and cultural aspirations of its members
- To provide information to Christian-inspired hospitals in view of the application of Christian values in healthcare
